This year's event will be a special two-part event. Motorcyclists will be hitting the road on Saturday, October 7th as part of the 10th Annual Caitie’s Army Fall Ride. Riders will meet at Red Level VFW Post #4388 for a ride through the beautiful roads of Alabama that will benefit childhood cancer research at Children’s of Alabama. Join us for lunch and a day of entertainment.

On Saturday, September 16th there will be a family fun day as well as a BBQ cookoff and poundcake cookoff. Caitie’s Army was inspired by Caitie Rhodes of Andalusia, who was diagnosed and treated for brain cancer at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. Touched by her story, organizers hold activities and events to raise funds that support The Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s. All money raised will go towards childhood cancer research and helping families like Caitie’s. More information about the event is available by calling Carmen Maddox at (334) 333-5876 or Tee Terry (334) 504-4095.
